Hats in Bangkok? Fedora style e.t.c.

Featured Replies

So I walked around all day today, looking for a black fedora hat. I lost my old one in Taiwan, so now I need to find a new hat. smile.png

I did find some hats, but they were either one-size or too small for me.

Are there any real hat shops in BKK? Preferably a shop who has larger sizes.

Any info will be greatly appreciated. smile.png

(Feather is not necessary.)

There's a haberdashery of sorts in the JJ Mall part of Chatuchak market. It's not far from the entrance (of the mall, not the Gate 1 of the market) on your right as you walk in. Lots of cheap stuff out front, but they do have a display case inside with some quality products. I've got a big head, and the ones in the display case fit me.

I'm looking for a man's hat, too, but Panama-style. Not the cheap variety that is trendy among youngish females here, but actual Panama style. (Yes, I know, likely made in Ecuador.)

In Central Westgate i saw a shop called hat's only and that was all they sold. I can't remember if i saw real hats but many caps and the lot.

It's at the escalators above the bakery's, infront of Tops there you go up and will see it.

Well, here is a place you can visit next time you are in Chiang Mai.

Top quality panama hats, and apparently they are all imported from Ecuador. I haven't been there yet, but I will go next time I'm in CM.

Was going to mention. Montefino has a FB page. Perhaps they can ship to you.

Just an update for others who are searching. This tip is spot on. Very nice collection of hats!
