I think it's more important how and where you met them & how they lived their life and made a living - over which area they are from....

There are lovely good women all around Thailand....

Problem is many are looking in the wrong places + not taking a proper amount of time and observations about the gals they become entangled with....

English speaking Isaan women work in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, etc.So how do you tell the difference.

After 5 years in Isaan I got sick of the quality of the women I was meeting, their lack of understanding basic Thai, and most not being able to speak any English and interested in $ only, not interested in me.

Living in Isaan farming all their lives, many do not age well.

I live in Chiangmai and prefer Northern Thai ladies but Isaan are supposedy more beautiful but in every part of this country there are both beautiful and ugly ladies.

In my personal feelings I don't care about race,religion or even country.

Yeah, Bookman, this is quite a generalization... what I usually find lacking in the questions on Thai ladies is a mention of age and maturity levels...

But as one friend used to say - "the prettiest ladies are from wherever your wife is from" - a safe answer...

What are you talking about? I've never met an Isaan person who can't speak Thai before. They all learn it in school. And where are you even meeting those women?

I guess it come down to whether you like anything urban or rural.

By that do you mean modern families are actually less greedy than more traditional ones? I've heard that in more traditional families the husband has to pay for every damn thing. Maybe feminism is actually a good thing...who knows right?

for sex ... isaan girls and women have been the best - most attractive, sexy, and performance combined

You are not making much sense here mate, I don't know which part of Isaan you are referring to as its a big area, And believe me they can all speak fluent Thai, unless they are in their 60s and still live baan nork, where the local dialect is used, and they tend to forget Thai. My Wife of over 20yrs. is a village woman as in chaow naa, if you know what that means, which I doubt, and at 46yrs of age she has aged very well. Your post is a bunch of worn out cliche, probably never seen the sky over Isaan, and think that it is merely a town North of Korat.

Loyalty and commitment come with family upbringing, education and personal traits shaped by the circumstances of life. Hard to find but existing in this country, again at the person level; as for the society in general, true that these qualities seem evasively not present as a characteristic of the Thai psyche. My own experience has been with a pure bankokian, university level, fluent in English but we never speak this second language (for the both of us), always in Thai...for 25 years now, and counting !

Check out BKK during songkran. See many women? That's right the BKK women are back to their villages in Isaan. Same same.

So are you asking if they magically improve after moving into the city? The usual is the polar opposite, country pumpkins are best and get spoiled by 'em city slickers.

My preference is the Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai area, but then I'm biased.

The few Bangkok/Issan girls I've met have been OK, but not as cute.
