Help with filling out visa application form for Vietnam

Hi I'm hoping someone here is familiar with the Visa application form for Vietnam and can help me. What do I put for the hosting organization? Is this the company that arranged my letter? In the "Appling for visa valid from" question do I put the whole month that is indicated on the letter or just the 9 days I am going to be there?

Are you applying for visa to Vietnam at Viet consulate in Thailand.

I would suggest you obtain the "letter of approval" online. Very easy and costs about 16usd. With that when you arrive you hop in que with form with photo attached, your letter and passport.

I have my letter, I travel later today. I'm doing visa on arrival. I'm just filling out the visa application form I give on arrival in Vietnam with my letter and passport. Who do I put down for hosting organization? The company that arranges the letter?

You don't need to put down anything for hosting organization. In any event the clerk with have quick look for anything missing.

As for dates you can put date of arrival and departure. They will give you 30 days regardless

For purpose of entry, state tourist.

If you forget your photo they do it for 5usd. Best to have it all filled in photo attached.

Also have your letter of approval handy when boarding the plane. They will want to see it. Tick or highlight your name on letter.

If you're a tourist just leave the host blank. Put in the actual days you'll be there.

Hi guys thanks for the help and 2nd night in Saigon. Read what you guys all had to say then in a 2nd effort to fill the forms left everything I possibly could blank and just did the stuff like name address passport number and a few other questions that obviously needed answering and left the rest blank. No issues, straight through. Only needed one passport photo also even though it says 2. Anyway thanks guys.
