Today a few km; I found a baby cat walking alone in the middle of nowhere along the big 4 lanes rd 22 ;

so I came back home ;

he has his own room with food and water; difficult to have a baby cat with my five little dogs; they want to kill it

 

This morning found also a rice field crab , alive on the middle of my road, so I put it in the ditch .

 

One week I don't post something !

Raining much, often in the night so i can cycle in the morning and afternoon.

Last sunday, 14 of august 2016 , many vehicles on rd 22 ; I'm not far from Nong Han coming back to Sawang

 

 

But before arriving home it was raining ...

Tuesday 16 of august 2016 ,

 

Cycling to Phangkhon - total = 83 km - beautiful weather in the morning;

this is a new bridge for the future high speed train ( in another life, I suppose )

Two days ago a big overvoltage during 3 or 4 minutes; fortunately, I have an UPS ( Uninterruptible Power Supply ) , often it's the contrary, undervoltage from 175 volts to 60, 45..sometimes nothing ..

 

Last friday evening - 19 of august 2016 - we, 9 thai people and 2 farang ( french ) had the crazy idea to do a lap beginning and finishing at Phangkhon , Sakon Nakhon province;

 

Going to Beung Kan, road 222, then 212 to Nong Khai, 2 to Udon Thani and 22 to Phangkhon ..

the bagatelle of 453 km we did in less than 24 hours

 

Departure a 6.30 pm , it was not yet raining ..No women on the bikes, only in the three cars who were with us for the security

We are at Kham Ta Khla; it is 9.50 pm and it is raining MUCH

 

A stop at the 7/11 for a warm coffee or ovaltine for me .

In the pickup there is an old fridge in which we have much ice and drinks ( no alcool !! )

 

 

On the road to Beung Kan, it's pissing down ( but we like that, I think ? ), in french the expression is : " il pleut comme vache qui pisse "

I can do  more than 450 km in 24 hours, I did already 628 km in 26 hours;

yes, it was a long time ago during the race Bordeaux - Paris with amateur like me, I was never a cyclist professional !

So my bicycle on one of the pickups and me inside it .

130 kilometers, average 28 km/h in the night and we had a huge rain ..

Today, monday 22 of august 2016;

we went to Kasersat University not very far from  Sakon Nakhon city, on the road to Nakon Phanom , where our youngest daughter is studying ;

 Have a look how to never have a problem with " police tolls" - there were two on 120 kms and many speeding vehicles were on the left side to pay something; my wife said 1,000 baht now !

90 km/h , less than 2000 revs/mn , 17, 5 km for 1 liter of fuel ....with a 3,000cc pickup and automatic gear .
