Construction of Rubber City now underway in Songkhla

SONGKHLA, 14 April 2016 (NNT)-Rubber product manufacturers, both Thai and foreign, have expressed interest to invest at the new industrial estate in Songkhla being constructed.

According to Rubber Authority of Thailand Governor Titus Suksa-ard, the development of the industrial estate is currently underway. The area will be named ‘Rubber City’ once completed.

Chinese investors are among those showing great interest in investment in the industrial estate. The Governor of the Rubber Authority of Thailand has assured that there will be enough rubber to supply to manufacturing plants that will be built in Rubber City.

He added the industrial estate will be equipped with rubber specialists and scientists who will contribute to technological and productivity growth.

Several local small and medium rubber manufacturers are also planning to set up factories worth at least 2.4 billion baht to produce block rubber and rubber tires in the area.

Assuming the US English definition of rubber this should ensure an endless supply to the fleshpots of the country.

Considering the glut I had expected some experimental construction of a housing estate built entirely of rubber. Ah well.

Not yet will I see " Condom Condominium " is now available !biggrin.png
