Quality Hi Fi at resonable price in Phuket ?

Featured Replies

I have previous bought top of the line Big C style, but now it's time to get something better.

Stand on floor nice speakers and maybe a subwoofer.

I want a decent speaker system for the living room (not home theatre) for playing music incl. a amplifier.

How is the situation these days in Phuket ?

I plan to check out Homepro and Numsang Hi Fi (that I found on the net).

You guys have any good tips ?

Thank you

Some of the PowerBuy and PowerOne (Index) locations carry some decent quality equipment. Big C and Tesco carry primarily local brands that are geared more toward karaoke setups. Years ago, I bought a Yamaha system with wood cabinet floor-standing speakers at PowerBuy. At the time, these stores carried good name brands (Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo, JBL, etc). Not sure what they carry these days, but you should be able to check their websites online. As with most home entertainment equipment, prices will be higher in Thailand than in the US for comparable equipment.
