This is my view from the house, at least part of the year, but it is an ever-changing view.

I am not a morning person so I don’t see many sunrises but I seldom miss a sunset. Walking the dogs at sunset, some days are more dramatic than others, but it is always a highpoint of my day.

Our nearest river is the Ing, maybe 2 km away and the bike is one of my favorite modes of transportation in this area.

Felt like walking again today.  Including walking the dog and walking to the dam I did eleven kilometers.

Drove up to our local mountain top today.  After a few days of rain it was great to see the sun again.

Here is another shot looking west instead of east.  I like this view because that in the valley we live in.

They have turned a bend in the road into a new attraction here in Phayamengrai. It is supposed to be a weekend floating market. We will have to see if it catches on or not.

It had been many years since we visited Doi Suthep so we decided it was about time. Things have changed a lot but it is still beautiful.

Excellent photos VF, I'm in Chiang Rai right now with my girl doing a road trip from Pathum Thani, stopped off at a few places including Chiang Mai and of course Dói Suthep.
Your photos really bring out the natural beauty of Northern Thailand.
Probably gonna stay here a couple of days and will use your photos as a "guide " to some great scenery.
Thanks again and keep them coming .
P.s. not wanting to hijack your thread with my photos just want to add to your great photos with some basic ones of my own to show others what there is to offer up here.46076d05bc8f526408032ee919aa4ac0.jpg9e4c012dcc48a2821b792c67863718ab.jpgc0c3560c8d8dac98f3acd54071c788cd.jpg

We are rapidly moving into that time of year when our views are diminished by heavy smoke.  There is burning everyday in our area but so far it doesn't linger.  Here is a recent shot of our ground hugging evening smoke.

Just came across this thread again while browsing.

Whatever happened to the OP? Used to like his photos from out and about on his bike.

Maybe just moved on from AN.
