Multi-channel energy meter for 220V?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a multi-channel energy meter/logger to monitor not just the incoming supply, but also individual circuits. Everything google turns up is for US 110V single phase / 220V dual phase though.

What I'd really like is something like these:

But something that can actually work in Thailand ;)

Any leads?

Not exactly what I was looking for, but good lead nonetheless - thanks!

I'm expecting these are going to be fairly pricey though - I will ring around for pricing on Monday though.

The aspects of the "TED" system I liked were the rather compact clamps, the number of channels possible (32), and the monitoring/logging software.

If all else fails, I'll just buy a bunch of these @ $10 USD each I guess:

I would prefer something that logs to the cloud though..

In the end I bought a bunch of the boxes pictured in my last post for about 300 Baht/ea.

Things I've learnt already:

1. My pool pump & chlorinator, which are spec'd to draw 810W actually only draw 690W, and that only increases to ~700W when it's time to backwash the filter.

2. My main house pump which is a 750W inverter, draws up 1200W (!)

3. These energy meters also have non-volatile memory (they do not lose numbers when without power), so in the end they're just as useful as something more advanced, I just need to keep some spreadsheets ;)
