If u stay in the middle of the ricefields, no problem !

Because this kind of vehicle is forbidden on publics roads in Thailand, even we can see some sometimes  .

If a policeman see a farang on a public road driving a quad, he will be very, very happy :cheesy:

forbidden on public roads as all the other farm vehicles on the road in a  rural area...  :smile: ride everyday in front of police station (leading the children to school or come back from the market).... rtp (or army at chong chom market check point) not make any problem....  thailand doesn't always live to it's reputation...  :smile: common sense ,  no double standards (thais/farangs) and no way bribes here... just common sense...

In my area many are licensed and it does not seem to be a problem with the law.
I have even seen them being checked and licensed.

Farm vehicles are also licensed with orange plates and black letters and numbers.

I write what is the Law; not what thai/farang people do ..

Another example is about people in the back of pickups;

it's not forbidden, BUT the driver/owner MUST first ask the police to have the permission for transporting people there;

of course, nobody goes to the police station to ask for that paper.

But  insurance companies will ask about it before refund some money..
