There is nothing in this Op that is unique to Thailand ... indeed I can imagine exactly this scenario in any country... In any culture!

Unfortunate and regrettably though this is... It is kids being kids...

Access to porn... That old turkey... I don't doubt that the kids have a smart 'phone

And Thai TV soaps hardly set a better example... !!

A few slapped wrist and some quite time...

Get real and grow up !

My 14 y/o was raped by a 19 y/o, I suppose thats just teens acting out too, only thing is he then threw her off a train to her death. Anyone condoning this sort of behaviour as kids being kids has a screw loose, it is way past that and any normal person sees this for what it is, rape, age doesnt come into it. Really have to wonder what your attitude to females is if you think this sort of thing is ok and nothing to worry about, the one that needs to grow up is you, pathetic.

The alleged behaviour of this boy is well outside the norm.

He is in need of urgent professional help as are his victims.

Serious questions need to be asked of the Adults who were supposed to be caring for these children.

You should read my email again... As clearly you didn't .

Such behaviour is deplorable... But it is unrealistic to expect such young children to have developed social and moral responsibility.

At 19 quite a different story... A vicious selfish thug! No death too slow for him...

I am truly very sorry to hear of your dreadful experience, I can understand your sensitivity. I have a son and three daughters... All of whom I adore.

As parents we should provide and educate our kids and hope that these lessons/rules are established early in their lives, before they are put to any test.!

A task made harder by much of the media "examples" that would appear to condone and "normalise" antisocial behaviour... Rape;kidnapping;wife beating;stabbing;shooting etc... And on the other hand eschew loving caring affectionate behaviour ...

From the comments of the girl's mother ..." 10 or 12 times.".. These were acts of childish naivety, not of some deranged monster... Until they were presumably caught and shamed... Not some premeditated criminal act

This probably happens every day, everywhere, and it is not reported. Pornography of all kinds are FREE now without any verification, online in every smart phone and tablet, and nobody more interested than kids.

A twelve year old boy does not need adult movies to set his raging hormones into action.

It's like saying video games and films are responsible for violent behavior.

There will always be excessive hormones in young people, both male and female...

and there will always be those who do not deal with those hormones appropriately

For some reason humans are maturing sexually at an earlier age all of the time, while not maturing mentally any faster at all.

The boy is responsible for his actions, and needs to be held responsible for them, not the videos.

This applies to many adults as well..

I didn't finish reading that report as it sounds fishie to me..It sounds like family feud really.If I were the police officer in charge I would have charged her gor abandoning a 4&7 year old child for the period of a year on a daily basis. How did the boy get in/there...doesn't he go to school? I rest my case your honour! !!

You seem like a typical TV ... Didn't read the Op ...but felt it relevant to share your views with everyone none the less

I've seen that interview and watched and read everything I could find about Bundy and all the other serial killers. It's a subject that fascinates me.

Nonetheless, Bundy et al are extremely manipulative by nature. It's the way of psychopaths. Therefore, that interview was almost assuredly a last ditch effort to save his life as opposed to anything resembling an expression of remorse for his actions.

The child in question needs to get into serious therapy immediately. He has all the earmarks of going down a well trodden path towards destruction of other lives and his as well.

Sadly, I fear nothing will happen. It isn't a certainty, but it is a reasonable bet we have not heard the last from that young man. He will very likely rape and quite possibly murder in the future.

This is a problem of Thai- society: kids are left alone, with no parental supervison, boys are allowed to do, whatever they please, sex- ed is a no-no in school...but everywhere you turn, you hear about how fantastic Thai- family values are and how they look out for each other!

If something like this would happen elsewhere (and yes...we know...it doesn't happen only in Thailand- so spare me...), social services would be all over the parents of both the boy (how did he get access to porn- videos?) and the girls (why are they left alone with another minor, without anyone giving a sh1t?

But TIT, everything is soooo much better here, than in the nanny-states at home!

I don't know about U but I've often wondered about the thoughts and mind set of people that can murder others, especially serial killers that did this cruel, horrific thing to others over and over. How did they reach that point in their lives? What caused it? Why did they continue? Just how different are these people from what we deem "normal" what separates them from U and I ?. I think U, will be totally surprised as I was at the seemingly intelligence,understanding and surprising attitude of Ted Bundy, a monster wrapped up in a possible "normal" productive human that had let his guard down and suppressed his inhibitions that allowed the sleeping monster to take over and the psychological tools of porn and alcohol that helped in his seduction. Magazine/video porn never did much 4 me as neither did the so called "titty bars" that was packed with drunk macho limp d**ked idiots ... I need the touch, feel, smell, caress of a real possibly attainable woman to get my attention and arousal

Well guys forget about my so called intelligent observations about Ted Bundy. I was totally sucker punched by Bundy and his "religious clown" interviewer. Turns out he's just like all socio-psychotics, he's an excellent habitual chronic liar who also have these common traits, will not hesitate to kill others to reach goals or satisfaction, have a disregard for laws and social mores, total disregard for the rights of others, feel no remorse or guilt and a tendency to display violent behavior. Bundy along with his religious fraud really sucked me in ... I forgot to do my due diligence search / investigation ... this will wipe the slate clean and unveil these 2 hucksters ... I really feel stupid about my earlier remarks
