This year is the first time that both of us are talking about buying somewhere in UK and doing a 6/6 month or something on those lines.

I'm just wondering if anyone else out there is having the same thoughts.

I would buy probably in Spain ,and do the same if i had the money.Although after 10 years here the heat is not a problem and i dont use A/C .

If you have the funds to do it why not.

Those long summer nights are something else here in the UK,probably the biggest thing I missed in all my years living in Thailand it's dark by 7 pm every night.

We used to spend 10 months a year in Thailand and 2 months in Australia. Now it is the other way around.

This what I do. Check out the UK house prices first.

I was lucky and kept my UK house.

Better house value and weather in Spain.

I wouldnt waste your time with a Uk House the weather is crappy most of the time, summers are pretty crappy too and if you do get a good day to go out then everyone and his dog is also out on the roads as suggested other countries in the eu zone are better for living climate wise
