I have a small blob of blood to the right of my iris on right eye that's been there for over a week. I first noticed three weeks ago, came back from very light gym session and few hrs later when I noticed blood in top right corner of eye. Read the internet which says normal and will go away 2-3 weeks, problem is all its done is migrate itself slowly and peacefully from the top right corner down and across and attached itself to middle iris, and now stuck there for over a week. I feel a slight pressure on eye this week but nothing painful, first two weeks not even a feeling, I feel it there as if iris tiny bit raised.

Internet site say these things take 2-3 weeks, should I give it another week to 4 weeks?

If I go hospital they will send me eye department, wondering my insurance doesn't cover dental or vision, but is that for problem like these or is this for eyewear and tests, my vision is near perfect so my complaint would be what is this blood still doing here.

For crying out loud...go to the doctor. This is not considered a 'glasses' or vision type thing...regular medical will cover it.

Yes, opthalmologic disease would be covered. The "vision" exception means things like eye glasses, contact lens, refractive surgery.

And in any event a simple consultation is not that expensive.

If you are in Bangok, suggest Rutnin Eye Hospital

Done. Conjunctival hemorrhage within eye. She explained that for most people it will be 1-2 weeks, but it depends on size of bleed and other factors, and the moving across the eye is due to gravity. Anyway she reckon one more week, if not return. 800baht all in, which was covered by normal insurance
