BANGKOK:-- An electrician who worked at a block of flats in the Klong Toey area was caught with 20,000 Ya Ba tablets at a police checkpoint near the end of Soi 8 Chaeng Wattana.

Theera (or Bee) Sriprathet,34, from Klong Toey was searched at 4am after police suspected he was up to no good. He was sitting next to the taxi driver and Thung Song Hong police found the drugs in a black bag, reported Thairath.

Theera said that he had picked the bag up from a public phone box in the Song Prapa area of Don Meuang for delivery to someone at a department store. He had been paid 10,000 baht for the delivery.

Hence his 'open 24 hours' work ethic.

Nice pointing technique, seems this isn't his first go.

Oh, what a shock ( pun intended )........ beside, that'll teach him to be running around at 4 am where

everybody is a suspect.....

Why is his face blurred out? He is 34 not a child. Are they now going to catch the intended receiver?

One copper has his hand over the guys shoulder, as if it was a family photo !

Another Copper on the right has one of those uniforms which had to be made as a "special" order whilst he gets fit for duty.

Not to highjack this thread but when I click on the Thairat link I am getting and Thai version of the story. I do not see any option to change to English.

Am I doing something wrong ?
