Hello guys

we have smart TV 32' LG brand, kids pushed it down and got cracked.. displaying some colored strips and half back, only sound,

is it better to take it to LG service center? or some other shop like Amorn electronics at old siam?

Thanks for sharing ideas.

if you can source a new screen the actual refitting is very easy even if you have no experience in such things

give you tube a try you will be surprised at the simplicity of plug and play electronics

But if no physical crack have it checked - it may just be the connection to screen has become messed up - normal that one wire provides half and other the other half and if connections become bad (slip out of position) what you see can happen and may just require adjustment of the flat cables inside set.

Guys.. really surprised me about the cost of a such replacing thing !!

Also I was really surprised how easily to get cracked like this !!

the TV was placed at the kids bedroom corner, as they mostly watch YouTube, play games or watch their favorite cartoon channels, we purposely placed the LC screen TV around 40 cm above the floor to be comfortable for them to use the keyboard and mouse and watch as well,

the whole ground is covered by thick carpet and many toys made of fabric scattered around, pillows etc,

the kid was pulling the rope to close the curtain, some some layers of the curtain folded behind the TV and was pushed in front, even the stands still above the level of the table, but the light weight helped to get it fall down, replaced it back and thought was fine, couple of minutes later they turned it on, then shouted saying what is this?

I very much wondered how fragile like this to be cracked?

just fallen on soft ground and from very near level .. this is was the surprising wonder !

However, we'll call LG and check how to be, otherwise no go buy new one... sad.png one of the bills when having kids

Yes you should check with LG.

We have recently had them repair a TV for us ------- a good service and a fair price. I believe they will tell you if it is not worth repairing.
