Insurance Pre-inspection

I am looking at the renewing my insurance and the quote from AXA is requiring a pre-inspection. Has anybody done this? If so, what is the procedure?

They walk around your car, take note of any damage and general condition of the vehicle and took a couple of photos, at least that's what they did for my 5 year old Isuzu.

No, they did it when I took the vehicle to the AXA office to buy the insurance.

My vehicle has a variety of accessories (200k cost price) which required extra cover, so they walked round and estimated the value - we than haggles over any increase in premium.

Iam sorting new insurance at the moment with a broker.

They asked me to take the photo's and send to them.
