Pattaya Vascular Surgeon

Featured Replies

I am trying to locate a surgeon in the Pattaya area. I need a workup on my feet. I am convinced i will need angioplasty or stents. If I have to I will go to Bangkok but I would rather stay in the pattaya area.

I tried calling BHOP but there was a language problem.

Thanks in advance

Please provide more details as to what is wrong with your feet - and why you think you have a cardiac problem. Foot symptoms would not tell you this.

Foot disorder and cardiac problem would entail different specialists and I really do need the details to make a good referral.

Sorry, but that needs to be more specific. What exactly are your symptoms? Numbness? Tingling/ Pain? How do you know it is a circulatory problem? Are you diabetic?

And where do suspected cardiac problems come in? Poor peripheral circulation - if that is indeed what you have - is not usually cardiac in origin.

I didnt say anything about cardiac problems. I am looking for a vascular surgeon in the Pattaya area. Thanks in advance.

Not knowing whether or not you are diabetic, whether it is an arterial or venous probles etc very much limits my ability to steer you in the best direction.

Assuming it is peripheral arterial disease i suggest you consult Prof. Pramook Mutirangura in Bangkok. He is the head of the vascular surgery unit at Siriraj. Can be seen at:

Siriraj's private wing http://www.siphhospital.com/en/index.html

Phyathai 2 Hospital http://www.phyathai.com/doctorsearchdetail/54384/PYT2/en

While he is at Phyathai only once a week the location is more convenient than Siriraj coming from Pattaya - it is right near Victory Monument.

I can't recommend anyone in Pattaya. There are not that many vascular surgeons in Thailand with expertise/significant experience in PAD, most focus on cardiac surgery.

Ok. I was afraid of that. I will contact his office about a consult. Thanks

This hospital looks very expensive.

Hmmmh, I followed this thread. If you from UK, why not go back and run queue for NHS? It's cheaper at the end. Also at present you will have a cheap flight (before Brexit)

I am from the US and I have insurance. I will have at least $1000 in copsys maybe more.

This hospital looks very expensive.

Which hospital are you referring to? The doctor I recommended is at 2 different ones.

Siriraj private wing runs about 80% the cost of top tier private hospitals like Bumrungrad (which in turn are less than BPH).

Phyathai 2 is a mid range private hospital and likely to cost less than Siriraj.

In any hospital one should of course avoid the "VIP" rooms and the like. Regular private room is quite fine.

The information I read this may be an outpatient procedure. I was looking at the hospital closest to Patts
