Thai Language Teacher

Featured Replies

I am posting on behalf of my neighbours ,an English couple well into their 60s who are looking for a Thai Language Teacher (preferably a thai person). They would prefer a teacher that could come to their house for 1 hour, once per week for 12 or 16 weeks (maybe longer) at a rate of somewhere around the 400 baht per hour range. We live 5 kms east of Sukhumvit Rd. off Soi Siam Country Club not far from the Butterfly Bar and Black Pearl.

I understand that it may be difficult to get a teacher to come to the house, so any recommendations, both for "come to the house" or for Language Schools would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a PEC school in Pattaya Bazaar near the Dolpin Round. They teach individually, I asked for prices:

20 hours, if you study one - 6000 baht

20 hours, if there are 2 students - 4500 per person.

I don't know if they can come to house... You can call them, 038411762

I used to be taught by an excellent teacher whose name is Choo. She can do it for your price, but I'm not sure how she'd get to you. She has no car or motorcycle and uses moto taxis or song taews. But call her and check it out. 01-753-3612. Her background was working for some larger companies in BKK, and then also for AUA. But she is smarter than most of the people who tried to control her at AUA and so she went out on her own. Great lady!
