Big hello to all,

My first post. I would like to investigate manufacturers of anything to do with cleaning goods, household or industrial. I done a google but not much luck with Thailand. China has heaps, but i want to deal with Thailand. ( As i wish to eventually spend time there on business but with another motive of having a break on the taxmans account )

If you haven't done business with Thai Companies before boy are you in for some frustrating times!

Unlikely to get much done from Australia unless you have someone over here to help you.

Much easier to do from here as a lot of them aren't good at answering emails, faxes or phone calls!

Mind you - you want to spend time here!

While you are getting ready to do this, apply for an APEC travel card. It is a pre-approved business visa to 20 or so of the countries in the APEC group. In Thailand it is an automatic 90 day business visa, and in most countries it gives you an express lane for immigration. Look here for more infoormation.

I want to stay in Chiang Mai, perhaps rent a house near expats area.
