Thai wife and her daughter to Scotland 2wks.

Recommended Posts

Thinking about taking my Thai wife, her daughter/my step daughter to Scotland for a wee holiday. I also have some buisness.

I have UK passport they both have Thai. Married 2+ yrs and together for 10yrs. Wife works but nothing registered. How easy for a 2wk trip to Scotland....what is required?

Thanks.

Should be straightforward; especially as, from what you say, you live in Thailand with them.

Have a read of the pinned topic UK visit visa basics; although the links there are now out of date, the essential information hasn't changed.

For further details, including how to apply, supporting documents etc., see Standard visitor visa from UKVI.

Once their online applications are submitted they (you) will need to make an appointment with the UK visa application centre to hand in the signed hard copies of their applications and their supporting documents and have their biometrics taken.

Your wife and step daughter will need to make, and pay for, separate applications; but you can use the same supporting documents for both.
