The video of the incident went viral after tourist Lau Sai Wei posted it online.

I don't get it. According to the last sentence the bicycle belongs to a Tuktuk driver's mother in law!

Is this just badly written or......

No.....just badly comprehended ...........coffee1.gif

Mother-in-law's bike and so, who did she give the keys to? She should have been bought into the police station. Where is the bike now? Still looking for the next relatives Tuk-Tuk for a grab and go. Have the Thai police every bother to track by all of the cameras in the city, oh! yea they don't work.

Sorry, no such think as consequences.

Looks like the sleuths of TV have reached new lows in

1. drawing the false conclusion from an article

2. Not bothering to read the article but commenting on the false conclusions.

Come on guys, wake up. I know its Monday morning, but that is really no excuse for sloppy detective work.

To make it easy this time.

Anucha was the motorcycle thief.

Anucha confessed to the crime.

Anucha stated that the tuk-tuk drive was not an accomplice.

Anucha is not a relative of the tuk-tuk driver.

Anucha was riding his mother in law's bike.

The linked article states that the reason for the crime was.

"Anucha was selling "steering wheel garlands" and making THB 2,000 each day. This was not enough to live on, so he started to cruise around looking for victims to steal from".

Guess he found out that wives don't come cheap.

So the thief and owner of the Tuk Tuk are family?

Are they also drinking buddies?

You misread.. but your not the only one.. they checked the plates of the bike.. and it belonged to the mother in law of the thief. So presumably they first went after the MIL who told them the name of the thief. There is nothing in the article about the tuk tuk driver.

It seems you may have serious reading comprehension issues.

They caught the guy. It is clearly stated in the post. What more do you need to know?

Must be embarrassing for those native English speakers not understanding what has been written in the article when a non native speaker got it in one time.

Seriously this is not hard to comprehend.

Motorcycle driver his name is Anucha

The police traced the bike by its plate to the MIL of Anucha (the motorbike driver)

The motorcycle driver cleared the tuk tuk driver from involvement

Possibly due to conversing in Tarzan English with farm girls for a few years.

There has to be some collateral damage to cognitive skills.

Indeed, it is even more excruciating during the later stages of terminal brain-rot, and they start talking to even native English speakers in Tarzan English.

Other option is that they WANT to read a connection to the tuk tuk driver and mc driver because in their mind there MUST be a connection. It must be an evil complot of Thais against an innocent tourists, it can't be a normal robbing.

....as you can conclude from so many of these incidents....Thais never lie...especially not thieves....

...this is too obvious...and too infantile....

...but they will get away with it...again.....

...and like a poster said....the foreign victim might even end up being blamed....

...these sociopaths make their own reality...

...not good......
