Featured Replies

I am just looking at the check list for my wifes uk settlement visa and i see that they ask for a Certifed copy of my passport. How can i get a Certifed copy of my passport in thailand will a photo copy of it do any help please thanks

UK embassy should be able to attest the copy for you :o ?

By "certified copy" they mean a photocopy that has been certified as a true copy by a solicitor or similar. If you are in Thailand the consular section at the British embassy will certify the copy for you. Consular Fees

Notarial Fees

6 (:o Certifying copy £17.5, 1,313baht.

Please note that fees must be paid in Thai baht are subject to change at short notice.

We accept payment in cash, by banker’s draft or cashiers order (payable to “British Embassy Bangkok”). All major credit cards are accepted. We are unable to accept payment by personal cheque.

Remember to copy the blank pages as well, so the ECO can see that they are blank.

It may be possible to present your passport to the VAC, who can then check it and copy it for you. It seems logical, but I would check with them first before relying on it.
