Healthy mind, healthy body.

As a kid I could juggle anything. Literally give me a pint of Guiness, a bowling ball and a fountain pen and I would juggle them with ease.

These days I am not as sharp as I used to be. The suduko catches me out.

However, I can still catch 3 balls and juggle them.

So what do you do to keep your mind active? Is your eye/ body coordination as good as it used to be?

Edit.. Shooting hoops is always fun, at any age.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of learning to ride a unicycle.

While standing on your head....? That's more of an equilibrium challenge unicyclingly speaking....

Maybe SB can do wheelies.....

Hand to eye for me is hitting a ball with a bat 100 or more times in a week.....

Riding the bikes helps balance which we do a few times a week.....

The daughters like to break out the gloves & throw the ball around at a park in the middle of a bicycle ride .....Just like the states it's a good informal way to talk as people having fun together not father-daughter but they'll bring up stuff they have questions about......

Shooting hoops never was a good thing for me.....I can hit the hoop from anywhere in the court - - putting it through the hoop = hopeless.....

I know of one fellow that likes to write fictional novels based on folks he meets, but that's got nothing to do with a healthy mind that's for sure......furthermore it hasn't done his body any favours either 5555

Right about that I'm up the court every arvo playing half court with the local Crew. Funnily enough not as nimble as I was, the old outside fade away still pretty sweet though. Now I'm just waiting for my girls to get old enough for a bit of 3 on 3.
