True Visions Satellite CA 14 error

I posted in another thread about using the existing True Dish that was already on my house when I moved in.

I decided to go ahead and buy a True Set top box from Tesco Lotus.I hooked everything up an got an error CA 14 saying that it was the wrong smart card. I phoned up the helpline and the girl tried a few things - the usual turn if off routine but no joy. She gave some numbers to call for a technician to come check.

Anyway I went into the setup screen myself and confirmed the box was connected to ThaiCom(Ku) satellite with Strength 76% and Quality 67% so I'm fairly sure that everything is set up correctly.

Any thoughts before I call the True help centre again.

Fixed now.

 

Went into the True Shop to enquire about the EPL packages and got them to fix it at the same time.
