I have free access to Netflix, but agree, I've yet to see anything of interest, that I can't download elsewhere. Gives the added plus of pausing, rewinding if wanting. -

Maxim Ride App Drivers
I stopped using Grab because I was overcharged last month without explanation. It did take 3 weeks to get the overcharge amount refunded. As usual no expalnation. no admission of anything and of course no apology. That is that for Grab rides. I started using Maxim and in the beginning things were fine. For the last two rides this is the process: 3 to 5 drivers take the ride and then cancel. Today the first 5 drivers took the ride from Central Airport to Nimman Soi 12 and then canceled. The 5th driver was stationary on the Kad Luang side of the mall and I was on the Top Markets side on Mahidol road. My location was clearly visible on the Maxim application map. This driver called me and asked two questions: Where are you and how many people? I replied on the Tops Market entrance side and one. She then replied "forget you" and canceled. OK, TiT and "welcome to the land of smiles" (555). I finally got a driver to take my request for ride. This was the 7th driver. I have no idea what is going on now with Maxim drivers. The 7th driver was actually polite and courteous. The service was good and this has became a rarity for me in CNX. -

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2024)
There's an old movie called Threads from 1984 about a nuclear holocaust devastating the UK. Considering it was a low budget "made for TV" movie, it's one of the best portrayals I've ever seen depicting the aftermath of a nuclear attack. Horrific. Available on TG now. -

Zero as no company will insure me because I am on 20mg statins even though I have no coronary disease history, my cholesterol was 6 now 4.5 after taking the statins. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
The critical point is to crystallise the financial situation as of 1/1/2024. Because all funds at that date are tax free whenever the are brought into Thailand. Separate accounts make the situation clear. if you commingle the funds specially stocks and shares, it becomes difficult to prove the date origin and when profits arise. Bed and breakfasting should have been done at the end of last year however if you didn’t the sooner you do it the more clear the situation will be.
