Had True Vision for over a year now and while its quite good, they recycle a lot of stuff and its rather expensive really.

My son suggested Netflicks, don't know much about it. Do you connect it through Apple TV or your computer or do you get a box with it?

Only problem would be we wouldn't have the Thai channels for the missus...Or would we?

 

Trying to get my head around how it connects to the TV. We have a fairly new LED TV but it isn't a smart Tv or Wifi / Internet etc.

Netflix runs on a PC, TV box or Smart TV. I don't think it's an alternative to something like True (even though True is pants).

 

PCs or Smart TVs usually offer better quality than the Andriod TV boxes.

If you're English or just want documentaries aimed at adults, then do a search for ThaiExpat.tv or it's sister ExpatPremium.tv

If you are only interested in Movies and series  then Kodi is fine. Not so reliable for live tv. With a android box there are more options with apps like Mobdro, Showbox and even Thai Tv.
