Six years ago I had an MRI done in a non-enclosed machine at Urupong Medical Center in Bangkok.  I was in extreme pain from a back injury and had panic attack when BNH Hospital tried to put me through their enclosed-tube MRI machine so they transported me to/from Urupong for the scan.

However, I just went to their web site page for MRI (http://www.urupongmedical.com/mri.html) and they display the enclosed-tube machine, so I'm not sure they still have one.

(I hope this is what you meant by "Open MRI.")

I had aMRI at Bangkok Hospital Medical Center last year. They have a so-called Open MRI. Essentially from what I saw the machine is not a donut hole but the sides were "open" so less claustrophobic.

Thanks for the info.  So far I have contacted Bangkok Hospital CM, RAM hospital CM, and mrithailand.  They tell me they do not have Open MRI.  I have an email in to Bumrungrad and should hear from them in a few days.  Uprong no longer has it as well.

Update:  Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok says they do have Open MRI.
