This thread is a TOTAL dud for what I think is an interesting reason.

You can't compare San Franciscans to Pattaya expats.

Do Pattaya expats expect other Pattaya expats to be sexpats or to NOT be sexpats?

Neither.

For example, San Franciscans expect other San Franciscans to drink decent coffee if they drink coffee.

So a secret shame of a San Franciscan would be drinking instant coffee.

 

So this thread, perhaps poorly explained or not, was based on a FLAWED concept from the start.

 

I still think the reason it's flawed is interesting.

If you want to start a thread about your fixation about Jews ... go for it, dude, and see how it goes.

Starting threads is always risky.

It's often hard to predict whether they will resonate or not.

This one is an exception though.

If I had thought about it, I would have realized the concept was so totally flawed that going off the rails was a definite.

Older in age, not so fit. Here to retire because your money goes further and you get a better woman than you otherwise could at home.

 

I'm not that old (mid 30's), even after a almost life ending motorcycle accident I'm not unfit. 

I've got more than enough money and assets to retire back home and my university educated filo mid 20's fiancée is better than any girl I've spoken to, and quite the bit better looking, than most of the girls I've found in Pattaya.

 

But.... I love the bars! I love the seedy feel of Pattaya itself an the amazingly fun times that can be had on any single night.

the ability to go out to bars/agogos and spend 1 or 2000 baht and have a great time. Happy just walking out the door...
