What part of major forum upgrade in progress is so hard to comprehend?

Posted on the home page since August 1st.

"Yes the forum has been upgraded, your constructive feedback about features and issues is important. However as we all know we are experiencing some frequent issues since the upgrade. We have just applied the first of two patches in the last hour which is meant to reduce the stability issues we are having, we need to leave the changes for a day to see if it has made a difference. ** We have also just disabled the tapatalk plugin for the next two days to see if this resolves our stability issues ** We will keep you up-to date once we have more information and hopefully a time when we hope to have these issues resolved once and for all."

Why not develop and test the new system and then do a quick changeover, once it is ready?

Do you really have to close a part of the site for a week, well you figure out how to make what you want to work properly?

Do you have ANY idea how many post and topics there are on this FORUM ??

The old system (WHICH WAS REALLY OLD)

I was referring to the classifieds section that has been down for a week.

I doubt wether too many advertisers would really care if their ads were preserved, if they have been offline for a considerable amount of time anyway,

Do they need to keep the last 10 years of ads online.
