Direct flights to Singapore from CNX

Featured Replies

The search function doesn't seem to be working.

Can anyone tell me who does cheap direct flights from Chiang Mai to Singapore.

The only one I'm finding at the moment is Tiger.

Thanks

Try skyscanner.net

In theory Tiger should be a lot cheaper than Silk Air. Thats it two direct flights.

Thanks for the replys.

Looks like Tiger is the winner.

I must have been dreaming, I thought there was others before.

There was. AirAsia flew CNX-SIN previously but it was dropped when they started their Macau flight.

Tiger is not always cheaper or meaningfully cheaper that Silk so best to check both since rates change often and Tiger charges additional for extras if I recall correctly.  Silk is a more comfortable flight for most folks.

Well worth a little extra to fly Silk ...  fabulous!

Yeh and if you are on a lucky flight they giive you ice cream bon bons!

Is that constructive critique of Silkair or pointless sarcasm directed at local short haul carriers?

Neither.  I guess you have never been on one of their flights when after the meal they handed out boxes of about 5 chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bon bons. Quite a nice extra but not on every flight.  I like Silk Air, have flown them doxens of times.

Lighten up Rob.

I guess I missed out on the bon bons ... tho your comment was ambiguous. :)

Silkair and Tiger are the 2 that flies direct. I agree you should do a price search as they don't fly everyday and at different arrival times in Singapore with Tiget getting the better slots.

At times with silkier on sale, the 30kg luggage and meals , seat selection etc make it a much better deal than Tiger unless you travel light...so good to do comparisons based on how one travels and why you are heading to singapore.

Not at all ambiguous in light of his post #9 above which a + for Silk.  Good luck on getting Bon bons next time,  they are good and might just improve your outlook.

I always fly by tiger from singapore to chiang mai! Its the cheapest direct flight. Look out every thursdays on tiger's website as there will be good deals on thursdays :)
