A school director at a school in Trang in the south of Thailand has denied allegations that he raped a twelve year old boy at his school.

The director who was unnamed was mentioned in a complaint made by parents of the M1 (Year Eight) child earlier in the week.

Yesterday the director went to Nayong police to say that there is no truth in the allegations. He added that he has eyewitnesses and other evidence to back up his denials.

The family claimed the boy had been attacked multiple times.

Police reiterated that at present he was only a suspect and no charges have been laid as they continue to gather evidence and wait for medical reports on the boy due from a hospital.

The director remains at liberty. Police said that he had voluntarily come in to the station to give evidence.

if the prosecution has a case they can try to prove. a person is innocent until proven guilty. if his witnesses can hold up to the scrutiny of the prosecution, then he might be innocent.
