I love how "Westerners" often get all self-righteous over something like this.

 

Apparently, once women in the West get married they suddenly have no need for money at all. They are all content to stay at home, cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids, doing laundry and so on and never want more than to wait for their husbands to get home so they can bang them, feed them and then curl up around their feet and wait in case their man needs another beer or something fetched for them. 

Money ? Bah - who needs that ?

Men in the West apparently never give their wives any access to their money but may give her a token amount now and then to do things like buy food, clothes, pay bills and maybe, if there's enough left over, buy some new clothespins or a dish cloth. Other than that it seems Western women live only to please their man. Buy her a discounted flower 2-3 days after your anniversary, maybe a chocolate cake on her birthday (or a day old muffin and a "I'm sorry" card the next day) and some new tea towels at Christmas and she's good to go ! Free sex and maid service on demand year round !

 

What a load of total BS. (If that was even slightly true, there'd barely be any expats at all living in Thailand or Cambodia or the Philippines, etc.)

 

I had this conversation once with some army buddies while we were on a train in Germany. I'd sampled some of the wares that Hamburg had to offer during a recent outing. :whistling: Of the 4 of us, 3 were married (I was the only single guy). One guy expressed disgust at the idea of "paying for it". I noted that he was married and asked him when the last time he "got any" was (apparently it had been awhile since the last time). I told him the difference between him and I was that he was paying for it everyday of his life and rarely getting any, while I was getting it whenever I paid for it. (He had a glum look on his face after that.) I knew guys whose wives had total control over the money the man was making and were actually giving the husband a tiny allowance every two weeks to buy coffee and lunch at work. Meanwhile sex was only for "special occasions". Frik - I swear some of those married guys were lucky if they were getting "it" once a month ! Some were lucky and might get "it" once a week (3 times a month, maybe, depending on "Aunt Flo"). 

 

These 2 are married. The guy is paying for "it" no different than pretty much any guy in the West is doing, except that he's getting a porn star in return that is apparently looking after him. He can obviously afford it (or the next story we read will be about he ran out of money and "fell" off the balcony of a hi-rise condo). 

 

Seriously. Take "former porn star" out of the equation and this relationship is pretty much exactly like any other married relationship with some exceptions.

Older guy with money marries hottie.

Hottie is taking care of and banging old guy who is paying the bills and giving her money to do whatever she wants with.

(OK, it's not quite like every other marriage. It seems she doesn't have control over the bank account, yet.)

 

Maybe the real story here is that they are still together after 4(+) years.

Classy lady,   happy to let everyone know how well she's done for herself and not in a discreet way like saying   '  a happy life of mutual love,   respect and sharing etc  '   but right in there with I get 50% of everything going.

Perhaps she should add   '  so far and working on the rest  '.
