I have been looking at these cards for online shopping in Thailand.

It seems to be exactly the same as a credit card, but that you never actually have a physical one. Just the card details for online ordering.

Has anyone used either, or both of them?  Any good?  Is one better than the other? Is there a better one?

TIA

I just opened thaipaypal account. I have a SCB-account. Can i add scb virtualcard as a "credit card" for my thaipaypal account and then do online shopping using paypal ? . If not, is it o.k to topup thaipaypal using my europaypal - account?

Edit: And what about mpay? If i remember right they have also this "virtual card"

I can not compare.

I just have a virtual CC from Kasikorn and used it multiple times for domestic flight booking, domestic hotel reservation/deposit, domestic online shopping.

At some sites CC payment is the only or favorable payment option.

Living in the sticks it is very convenient to do all that from the armchair.

I would never use my foreign/home country CC for such purposes (CC fees added).

My Kasikorn virtual debit card works for overseas purchases online - google play store for apps and a couple of other US online stores.

I have had a K-Shopping card for years. Works brilliantly.

No problems with fraud?  Seeing as there is no physical card for anyone to copy, I presume it must be a bit safer providing purchases are made on sites using https.

Unless they have my phone and passwords, it seems pretty secure. Plus, I get an SMS anytime anything happens with any of my Kasikorn accounts.
