Immigration CM airport or Promenada . To sign every paper before, or not to sign, signing is the question.

Do we need to sign all paper docs before as usual for immigration extensions, or NOW do we wait as they will box stamp and area for us to sign in? I remember eyes rolling from the officer one time because I did not sign, and no0w if I sign before may be the eyes rolling and a new holdup antagonizing her.

Sign before as USUAL? So there is no box they will stamp and then we have to initial and sign?  When was the last time you went?

Correct....just sign your full name on the copies somewhere.   I've never seen the stamped box that you refer to (other than the stamped box that the officer signs).  Have everything ready and you'll save yourself rolling eyes and yourself and everybody else a bit of time.

Thanks. Seems every year with something or not I seem to get my wife mad at me and the tilted head of the immigration lady cocking an eyebrow at me. Surely will be something again. Murphy and the law of averages.

When I did my marriage extension at the airport office in July, I had pre-signed every paper before I went, but whilst there I had to print my name below every signature on every page. A new requirement I was told.

I can say it now as all finished. Happy Happy Happy again and all went smooth as SILK!

Sign and write name on all copies. I had to write my name as did not know required, but fortunately it did not take any time out of the interview session as the officer now has more document writing to do as ever. So apparently their work load has increased as well.
