Hi

I am a  visitor to CM .This year i require to purchase a new compute.Pantip plaza  is now a shopping mall no computers.The shops that used to be beside  Computer Plaza

have been demolished and replaced by residential units .Has a new place opened to replace the ones lost ?

There's a mall called Icon which is packed with Computer vendors - there's also another mall sort of place next door which does the same thing. 

Plenty of computers for sale today in Pantip Plaza

Robinsons Mall ,near the airport,has lots of shops selling all kinds

of computers.

Visitor?  Wait til the next time you visit Bangkok - better prices, latest models.  

Suggestion, try GoodSpeed in the Computer Plaza on Maninoppharat Rd. (that's the road that is the northern boundary of the outside of the  old/inner-city moat, and it is one-way from west to east). Over many years I, and many other expats I know, have shopped there, and  last week picked up a new graphics card for a system I'm building at a price lower than the Lazada or InvadeIT mail-order prices. GoodSpeed also has a shop in Panthip Plaza  in the Night Bazaar on Changklan.

 

If you search on this forum for threads on computer hardware, you'll find several, some this year.

Goodspeed is excellent, I used them for many years back in my PC days. 

i bought my last printer from them a month ago.

Goodspeed has put together all of my computers over the past 15 years, with never a problem. When I get 'creative' and screw up the computer in my quest to 'improve' it, they always manage to bring it back into good working condition with no residual effects.

A few questions/observations re Panthip Plaza

 

Is Goodspeed still in Panthip Plaza? Had a look around today and could not see it.  If it is still their - any directions?

 

Plenty of laptops on sale but a very limited supply of desk top systems.

 

Does anyone have any experience of 'Microtech' in Panthip Plaza.
