I'm going to try try to write a short story and would love just answers saying it's true or false. Any spelling mistakes or grammar mistakes you can blame on the Glenfiddich.

When I started work here I had to share a house with another guy on the project. His name was - - - - - -.

First night was a Friday and about 9pm I went to bed. A quiet night for me as he had gone out, I had a couple of wee Goldies and was 'sleepy'.

Saturday morning I was surprised when my light was switched on and a young lady was asking me if there was any coffee in the house. Being a nice guy I got up made her a coffee, which was finished  in silence and then she said I have to go, see you later.

About 1 hour later - - - - appeared and decided that he was going to clean out the fish pond in the garden, it contained one or two catfish. I suggested that he should be careful of the spines they have behind their heads and I was told not to be silly.

Anyway 30 minutes later I heard the expletive from the outside area and - - - - - - decided he needed to go to the local clinic to get antibiotic creams etc for the puncture marks on his fingers.

- - - - -- appeared later and had a coffee then decided that the dog that no-one looked after in the Soi would be happier in the local Temple so after managing to coax in into the back seat of his pick up with two packs of sliced ham he set of for the Temple.

When he reached the main road he noticed that he was almost out of fuel, pulled into a gas station got fuel and then decided to go to the toilet. ( Sad part ) When he opened the pick up door the dog jumped out, ran into the road and got flattened by a truck.

- - -- - - - then decided it would be a better idea just to stay home and drink.

I went out for a walk to check out the area around the house and when I got back later on the young lady had appeared again and both seemed to be enjoying themselves having a few drinks. I joined them for a couple and had another early night, with a bottle and glass for myself.

I can sort of remember a bit of noise in the night and at one point I heard glass breaking but didn't think too much of it.

I got up on Sunday morning and when I walked into the TV room the glass table was completely smashed and the floor was covered in blood.

I managed to eventually contact my boss and let him know, he eventually found - - - - - - in the hospital with stitches all over the back of one leg inflicted when he sat/fell onto the coffee table.

He also agreed to my move to a small hotel for a couple of weeks until I found my own place.

My introduction to working and staying in Thailand.
