UK Visa for TGF

Featured Replies

My Thai Girl friend is going to be applying for a UK Tourist Visa.  We (she) intends to apply herself.  To prove our relationship, which has been one year to date (18 months when she applies), how many photographs of us together are required for the application? As we have been living together, for all the past year in Thailand, do we still require to prove correspondence to each other ie. texts and phone calls, even though we've never been apart?

Also, does any one have a template or an example letter to go with the application?

All information would be very much appreciated.

You might find the pinned topic at the top of this forum "UK Visit Visa Basics".

As you're living together here in Thailand clearly you wouldn't need to provide details of correspondence and phone calls, but you do need to satisfy the ECO that you are together here, but only really if you are sponsoring her or using your relationship as her reason to return.
You might want to include details of your status here and, if you're living together, details of your accommodation.

The UKVI specifically state that you shouldn't enclose photographs with an application, unless they specifically ask for them.
