Officials dispel rumors about flooding, prepare reparations for farmers

  

BANGKOK, 11 October 2016 (NNT) – The government has prepared measures to assist farmers affected by flood conditions with the Royal Irrigation Department (RID) dispelling rumors Rama 6 Dam has been damaged.

BANGKOK — Police on Tuesday extended warnings of car bomb plots to upper southern provinces, a day after it emerged that armed militants were planning to strike at several targets in Bangkok’s southwestern suburb, including Suvarnabhumi Airport.

PM pleads with media to report bomb plot in capital with caution

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha on Tuesday pleaded with the media to exercise caution in their reporting of an intelligence report about a plot by alleged southern militants to carry out bomb attacks in Bangkok and peripherals during October 25-30 in order not to cause public panic.

PHUKET:-- Provincial officials told the Phuket Gazette on October 7 that they are prepared to support and enforce a new law that would punish the families of drunk drivers, should the legislation be approved by Thailand’s Cabinet.
