This poll might be a way to check how we are doing in the legal services department here in Phuket.

I suspect there might be room for improvement. This way you can share your own opinion from experience.

If you want to share your whole experience you can do that too because now there is a hub specifically for that purpose

which will be very helpful for people new to this. I personally have some experience here and I felt there was way too little information

on this subject for the Phuket region. Hopefully we can change that but it does require contributions, though, so be sure to share your experiences.

If you want you can find out more about the hub by checking out my profile.

Seems like an advert- have you cleared this?

If you are living in Thailand, and you happen to need legal advice, for whatever reason, you are either about to make a bad decision, or you should get on the first plane out to a non-extradition treaty county.

There are NO laws to PROPERLY protect a foreigner in Thailand.

It's as simple as that.

You sound like the former member who used to go on and on about crooked lawyers here after he  got diddled in a big case.

I suggest you cut your losses and move on. You can't win against these guys, only get sued.

Are you referring to these high profile cases?

Thai lawyers are just a part of the scam system here.

If you need a lawyer here, you are about to make a bad decision, or you are already in a lot of trouble.
