For translations of Thai I.D. and House book into English it has to be translated by an authorised body such as an agency

I have used one (agency) in Bangkok before but do you have to go to Bangkok for this or are there any in Buriram that will do same

There are many translation agencies around Thailand...they need to be a proper licenced agency and not the old girl down the road... :o

Perhaps you could post the question in the Buriram forum, I am sure that someone there could tell about translation services in your area of Buriram

If it makes you feel any better before you spend your money, just give the Visa office at the embassy or the VFS office and call and confirm that you can get your doccuments translated at any certified agency throughout thailand. Some people have said before that the embassy has a list of approved translation agencys but when I asked the embassy before getting my translations done, they said that they do not have a list of reccomended agencys, as long as the agency is acredited and the agency stamps their stamp on the translations, the translations will be accepted.
