You are so right and look what Australia and Canada have ended up with as their Prime Ministers but I noted that in a rural Australia state election in Orange, people power has risen and a safe seat needing about a 25 percent to change hands looks just like doing that.  Another lot of good news for Australians is that it appears given,Mr Trumps grab on fossil fuels and steel production that the cost of oil, coal and gas have all risen and has given the Australian economy a 16 billion boost.  Go people power and look out all you elites, the people are coming for you unless you change you ways and get back to being public servants, not public masters.  :wai:

Has this hogwash in any way related to the survey question?

Your assessment of Trump's economic policies and their impact on the Australian economy is a complete nonsense. You have any notion at all about the US coal and gas industries? Do you have any idea about the changing costs of production of coal and the reduction of demand from China in the past few years? Since you clearly don't, then it might be sensible to provide some link to whatever sources you are drawing from to enable a critical reader to evaluate the information. Just following the hot air you are producing on issues clearly way outside your field is a waste of time.

When your butt hurts, and you feel the Constitution, as it is written,  does not agree with you ideals, contact your state representatives and demand them to have the Constitution amended.

Have you bothered to do that yet?

What stupidity is this? References to butts and Constitutional Conventions. The fringe Right are clearly still drunk on their victory from last week. A victory that turns more hollow as Trump's unpreparedness and lack of leadership ability to quell factionalism continue alongside increasing protests as HRC's popular vote numbers grow higher.

At no point in my post have I suggested changing the Constitution. I have merely highlighted the fact that its construction was influenced by the slave interests of the southern states. It was not constructed to prevent lazy people from voting themselves entitlements, which is the whole argument of the America is not a Democracy crowd.

I guess your butt reference is in relation somehow to the Trump victory? It is almost a week now and the more infantile and immature crazies are still crowing. I have already extended my congratulations but your victory is only the start of the revolution. Now comes the resistance. The Trump victory has not given you or your fellow travelers a mandate to require the silence of critics. At least not yet. Who knows what Giuliani will do if he is AG. So you can take your butt reference and stick it where it belongs. I take no instruction from you.

Speaking of making things up, Hillary does not have anywhere close to that. That is a "prediction" by the same left-wing media that claimed she would win in a landslide.

I am following the forum rules as far as editing and you are the one posting factually incorrect information. Hillary's lead is not anywhere close to your claim "at this stage".

Well the way you are ranting, raving,  and attacking people, as well as giving your opinion on the 12th amendment, it sure does seem you have a serious issue with the outcome of this election and by the law that determined this outcome.

In no way did I instruct you to anything, but a mere suggestion.

A few more suggestions for you.

Take a deep breath

Try and relax

Have a great day:smile:

The man has the emotional level of an immature small child in the body of a 70 year old. He has

Respectfully, I disagree with everything you said.  Hillary and the Clinton's have a long history of criminal activity behind them.  We joke in the office here about the next death of a Clinton foe which will be ruled, "Suicide by three shots to the back of the head".  Seriously, this is what we joke about.  HRC is so bought and paid for she would never be able to represent the people who elected her, only the people who paid for her.  Donald may not have been the best choice but he was the better choice, and, you know, let us just see what "Teflon Don" can do...  At the very least, I think he is sincere and wants to do the right thing.  He certainly doesn't need the money.

Another funny thing, the extreme left promised that IF Trump were to win, there would be meltdown on the Dow. didn't happen, Dow is breaking new record highs. There would be an end to relations with other countries. didn't happen, heads of state worldwide are scrambling to work with him and are praising him(merkel excepted but then she is way beyond rational thought processes). There would be nuclear war with Russia -again, nope Putin and Trump are showing they can communicate and understand each other.

All their hoped for dire situations did not materialize. As most rational observers could have told you. Now, lets get these illegals off the streets and deported back to wherever their passports dictate and the USA can get it's life back. MSM must be held accountable for their role in the lies, cheating and generally despicable behaviour in trying to overthrow democracy for their own snowflake agendas.

I have to admit, I thought the stock market was gonna take a big hit as well. In fact I bought 200 pounds of silver just to be prepared.

Actually I am surprised with the worlds reaction as well, just for the fact, they get most of their news from our biased, corporate owned MSM.

I am happy with the outcome, but not gonna get to giddy until he shows he is gonna act on his campaign promises. Of course we are all gonna have to wait until he at least gets his desk set up in the oval office. I wish all these doomsdayers

would do the same.

Have you forgotten the majority that voted for him? Nearly the same margin! Meaning the TV forum "vote" is similarly divided. Seems like you are the only "sane" one around here, but nevertheless in the minority.

He is almost down by 2 million votes and its getting wider as they count more votes in California.    "Drain the swamp?"   He is filling his team with DC lobbyists.

Trump isn't "down" by any amount of votes.  In case you hadn't seen the news lately, the election is over.  Trump was elected.

I was responding to the guy who said Trump won the popular vote, and the guy who said Trump would "Drain the Swamp".  Wrong on both counts, and no election is not over until the Electoral college votes in December.

An interesting discussion on who, how, what happened & who voted....Trump won the college educated crowd......

Pretty much every man's (woman's) candidate...

American college / university educated people voted for Obama because they were given educations by Leftists, Socialists and Communists who spent inordinate time indoctrinating students in their slanted Anti-American rewrite of history and politics... Many of those same people you speak of voted for Obama out of a false White Guilt instilled in them by the same professors I just mentioned.  They were taught to despise Capitalism upon which America was built.  They were taught that America must pay for its sins of oppression regardless of how imagined and manufactured as these sins actually were.  In short voting college educated Americans in 2008 and 2012 had and still have a distorted view of America and fell right in line with America hating Obama.  Obama went to a church for over 20 years headed by a pastor (a converted Muslim|) who preached 'God Damn America' for those 20 years but Obama said it had no effect on his beliefs of what America is... hogwash.  Obama is the reason for the rise of Trump ... excesses of Obama spewing hate for traditional America for eight years laid the ground work for rejection of HRC as she was expected to further Obama's agenda and even worse ...

Illegal Aliens do not have passports - at least 50 percent don't.  These Illegal Aliens just have stolen Social Security Numbers.  The other 50 percent were/are visa over stayers because the U.S. Immigration Authorities do not have a workable visa tracking system and under Obama basically refuse to even try to track down visa over stayers ... There are hundreds of thousands of Visa Over Stayers maybe millions - no one knows the real number.

Trump was elected by the US system of democracy. It is often hailed as the most democratic system.

So, what's the problem?

Do we want democracy or not?

There are at least three posts on this thread pointing out that the USA IS NOT A DEMOCRACY.... America is a Republic - and there is a difference ... Please go back and scan the posts and find what you evidently have no clue about...

Donald Trump's gift to Australia worth billions in the long run

Note there is a lot of discussion in Oz on whether or not Trump will adhere to this campaign promises and the resultant pros and cons on the Oz economy, plus additional defense costs. The TPP being negated by the USA is considered by many in as a step backward as Free Trade Agreements have overall increased jobs and profits. Attacking Free Trade and Tariff agreements - primarily based on outright lies by certain parties is nonsensical.

Yes good ole 'One Issue" Jingthing who is now judging Trump in the extreme and Trump won't even take office until Jan 20, 2017... Talk about ingrained bias - Jingthing's judgmental diatribes are slanted so over the top as to have fallen off into the Leftist Sea...
