Restaurants Serving Thanksgiving

The three Dukes restaurants and BakeNBite (spelling?) are all doing Thanksgiving dinners.  Probably others.  Best (or required?) that you make reservations.

Seems so provincial and narrow minded to say 'no turkey, therefore, no thanksgiving'.  I for one will be eating well, and giving thanks on that special American day, but i don't need a turkey to accomplish my mission.

There seems to be quite enough restaurants offering a Thanksgiving dinner if one is willing to go outside the Ring road.

I also wonder if there is a shortage of turkeys or just a shortage of turkeys from the USA.

I saw Turkeys for sale at Lotus-Tesco (CM-HD Road) this past weekend when I was there. Appeared to be 2 left in the freezer section going for 1,5xx Baht....  Not sure the size as I was not interested in purchasing one.

The folks at Bake and Bite also are serving Thanksgiving Day meals, both lunch and dinner, at two different prices.

I don't have the details, but have eaten there in years past and went home content.

The Pun Pun Guest House will be having its usual Thanksgiving Dinner.  this will be Norbest  turkey, real turkey not the Thai Fatterball version   Limited number so advance booking is required.  Special thanks to my friend for securing the Norbest.   Its turkey so don't be confusing with the vegetarian pun pun.

Just as a word of caution.  I was told today at lunchtime that some of the places offering Thanksgiving Dinner are preparing with Thai Turkeys.  If you have or are considering making a booking, please for your own sake , check if they are Thai Turkeys or not.  I do not in any way, shape or form recommend Thai Turkey.
