After this absolute disgrace I want to delete my account.  How do I do this?

See your name, top right corner.

 

Click on that.

 

The bottom option. 'Sign Out'

 

Then don't ever come back again.

Just sign out like you at the end of the day and never sign back in again.  

have someone else change your password and email address on your account.......

You can never leave.

 

The policy is that you can NOT close or delete your account or any postings.

 

That results in higher revenue dollars.

Go to change password.

 

Bash away at the keys for 10 seconds to create a line of gobbledygook.

 

Copy it. Paste it into the 'confirm new password' field.

 

Hit okay.

 

Log out.

Is it possible to amend a username?. I looked into Settings but couldn't find anything there to assist with this query.

Yes, send an email from your registered email address to support[at]thaivisa.com along with your existing and requested new username and it shall be done.

 

Note, that all your existing posts will then be attributed to your new name.
