                 Not really.  HRC got nearly 3 million more votes in Nov. than Trump. You like drastic tax cuts for the very rich?!  That says something about your priorities.  I may enjoy 8 years of Trump purely for the entertainment value.  It's rather fun to watch him shoot himself in one foot, while sticking the other in his mouth - each day.

 

              Yet, each week Trump is in the Oval Office, is another week he has to further debilitate the USA.  For that reason, it's good he's so distracted with fending off legal issues, and can't get much done with furthering his harmful-to-America agenda.

 

                     As for the Dem party losing popularity.  There may be some truth to that.  Already 3 Democrat congresspeople have joined a new party which is more liberal than mainstream Democratic party.  It's called JUSTICE DEMOCRATS. Keep an eye out for more defections.

 

                     I think Americans, in general, are moving further left politically.  Much of that is fueled by proofs of how miserable the right-wingers are manifesting in Wash. DC.  It will be interesting if Bernie Sanders joins the Justice Democrats, because the JD's embody all the points he campaigned on. 

 

                   The JD's have recently raised money, more quickly and from more individual donors than any other political group.  More than the Reps, Dems or Tea Party in any similar time frame.

My mind is even totally boggled as to how fiscal conservatives can 'welcome' these plans, I guess even more so as to why Americans would vote such politicians in to office.

 

There are enough articles and studies out there now showing that Trumps plan would be a disaster for tens of millions of Americans.

 

Maybe the real plan with the wall is actually to keep all the future poverty stricken Americans in the country to ensure they don't go looking for jobs in Mexico.
