Shipping company on Samui?

Featured Replies

hi everyone, im trying to locate a shipping company on Samui, i have a small crate of stuff to send up to Chiang Mai and as yet i have drawn a blank.

I have a mixture of electrical goods and bedding, so i think i cant send via Bangkok Airways.

Any ideas?

Many thanks, Kevin

Ask the post office perhaps? They do motorbikes, so means they may do large boxes also ...

There is DHL near Makro Bohput,  and I think Kerry Logistics...  I am  not sure where their office is.

cheers guys, not sure how big the box is going to be until i get back to Samui Thursday, hence the 'finding info' post, Post Office are pretty good, i just wonder how they will accept a wooden crate?

I've decided to send my clothes via Bangkok Airways cargo as this is a very cheap and speedy option, i used to have stuff sent down from Chiang Mai to Samui and its a fantastic service as long as its not electrical, i think they charge you 30 baht a kg and 80 baht for the paperwork, plus its got to be booked in a couple of hours before the flight.

Thanks for your help, i will keep on trying to locate a shipping company for my crate, might even ask if the bus company will accept it as there is a bus to Chiang Mai from Samui every day, i think.
