People have voiced concern that the death penalty is too severe for the violation of certain provisions stipulated in organic laws, especially for politicians who offer Cabinet seats for sale. The drafters have been asked to reconsider these clauses. I will qualify this by saying the PM did once say such appointments were understandable because it was natural to appoint people that could be trusted. If you could find a potential politician with ability, suitability and qualifications then these attributes might be worth considering -- but that seems like a long stretch of imagination.
