The notes engraved with an image of Jane Austen could be worth up to £50,000.

Four of the polymer bills have been engraved with a tiny image of Jane Austen by world-famous "micro-engraver" Graham Short - and the hunt is still on with two more to be found.

The artist was commissioned to etch a microscopic portrait of the author onto a quartet of the new Bank Of England notes, next to the images of Sir Winston Churchill and Elizabeth Tower.
