All these Asia YouTubers
Yes, Youtube can pay very well for people who know how to use it. Alife working as a Youtuber also gives a lot of freedom, where most of them are doing what they love do do even when working. The regular Youtube payment for standard advertising pays about 18 dollar per 1000 views. Think about the popular guys that makes 3 videos a week and getting 4-6 million views on each one of them. That makes 5 000 000 / 1 000 = 5 000 - 5 000 x 18 = 90 000 USD on only 1 video 90 000 x 12 = 1 080 000 USD / month That is only included the standard advertising contract with Google. There are a lot of bespoke contracts as well that give more or money on the side. A successful Youtuber will also get other sponsoring contracts that might give same much more. However, this is the top of the most successful Youtubers, but if you look at doing the same and only making 10% of above, that will be a huge amount of money for an Asian person per year to make about 35 - 40 million baht per year if being a Thai for example. Now you know, why they are so many. -

Israel Hamas War the Widening Middle East Conflict
And the best thing about that is, once he's dead, the problem is solved. No one will be there to replace him. And the guerilla war, which is what the situation is now, will evaporate. Yippee. -

Foreign Envoys Criticised for 'Undiplomatic Meeting' with Thai Opposition'
Well, well, another ignorant member of the leading elite of this country has spoken. Rachada Dhnadirek might be well advised to study the Vienna Convention stipulating clearly, what a diplomats duties are, what a diplomat is entitled to etc. For the time being, MFP remains the party which got the most votes in last "democratic" elections a little more than a year ago, even according to Thai law. That might change today but the meeting between a diplomat and ANYBODY else in Thailand is none of Thailand's concern. If any of those diplomats wanted to get the comments and inputs of the self-seated government, then I am sure, that the German Head of Mission would have extended an invitation to lunch. In order to get a picture on domestic affairs, with absolutely no intention to intervene in the same domestic affairs is, to invite all parties. In the case of the Swiss ambassador 10+ years ago, she managed to get the red and the yellow shirts to the same table at the Swiss residence. This time round the Germans chose to invite the parties apparently individually, for the very same cause. So Rachada Dhnadirek is well advised to keep her shirt on, to cool it and go back and study the Vienna Convention. She had her 15 minutes of fame but ridiculed the government, embarrassed the Thai foreign affairs ministry and made a complete fool out of herself. Next please! -

Why is Thailand not full of so called Asylum Seekers?
Doesn't work in Thailand. In order for a baby born on Thailand to get a Thai citizenship at least one of the parents must hold a Thai citizenship. -

How reliable are public transportation options compared to owning a car in Thailand?
Too many factors. Do you have a family? Kids? Live in town or out in the sticks? Don't mind waiting in the rain or hot sun for a ride. I live rural and use the train to ride into the nearest cities (1 1/2 and 3 hrs away) and then the local transits if I am going to stay for more than a day. Locally I ride a bike as I am only 2 km from town WHEN it doesn't rain. I have a car similar to connda for the times I want to drive. -

Personally wouldn’t be without a car. We have two cars and three motorcycles between the two of us, couldn’t imagine not having either for whatever practical purposes. -

How reliable are public transportation options compared to owning a car in Thailand?
Agree, and our car is an expensive convenience, relative of course, actual cost per month, just to sit in the carport. If we had to pay for petrol, and was on a budget, I doubt if we'd drive more than a few 1000 kms a year. Drive about 5k kms a year, around town, and most of that is unnecessary, and just the dog taking me for my morning walk at the park or surf, which can be done, right down our soi. 8-15 kms a day, just to get our Vit D, and drop a landmine somewhere -
