As for driving, you never know if they're drunk or just crazy ...

What has this to do with construction? I don't think the topic was random Thai bashing, rather it was meant to be focused Thai bashing.

They would be rewarded....lol  ..for their clever thinking applied to solve the problem.

Kow Kit Kheang Muk.........Kow Chalat Muk ...Kow Chai Samong Kheang Muk

While no one would tell them what they did is stupid or does not make sense ...or they are simply mistaken.....because they found a way to solve the problem ..even if it was a wrong way or unsuitable way.....they still solved the problem ..in many cases.

Of course, if there was proper planning in the first place then Somchai & Son wouldn't have to find a way around the problem. But that would be expecting too much .

Well there ya go...They would never ask or insist to change the engineering or original planning as they know that the higher ups would be offended or possibly cause a lose of face to the Engineers and hi so planners ..lol....

You know the class based hierarchy that exists here in Thailand and commonly gets in the way of obvious common sense and logic...lol

Cheers

indeed, many of these will be the result of lack of forward thinking, logic, planning, lazyness,no creative or independent thinking and/or the cultural inability of the lower hierarchy individual to question their superior, however daft the task they have been given. loss of face and all that...

Aren't we getting tired of photo-shopped pictures of Trump which are irrelevant to the thread yet.

Get over it!

Yes we are jacko, thoroughly sick and tired ofit.

The sore losers just won't get over the fact that they're .......well...... just losers.

Trump won folks.  It's now old news, and no amount of lampooning will change the result.

Sorry, i don't get it. What's so great/funny about this picture? I call it ingenious.

Normal procedure in the countryside to replace a buggered engine with a Kubota single cylinder 600-750cc diesel, in an old farm truck. Driven by 2 vee belts off an extended shaft from the clutch. Rotten tinware, pull it all off, no doors, no bonnet, make the rest out of wood. They are called E 10's. And we have one. Great, cheap, reliable and practical transport.
