Klong Song
I need to cut some moulding for the house and have been looking for a miter box. It is a small job so an inexpensive wood or plastic model would suffice. Have checked Homepro, Megahome, Thai Watsadu and Boontavorn with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect
Crossy
Nope, I never found a mitre box either, ended up making my own (before I bought a mitre-saw). Lots of DIY instructables on YouTube etc.
nisakiman
Do you do much DIY in your house? If so, it might be worth buying a cheap chop saw which will swing through 45° either way. They usually come with crap blades though, so you would have to budget for a decent TCT blade also. However, they are an invaluable tool, and well worth the investment if you do much around the house. A lot easier than a mitre box, too.

Crossy
Our Stanley mitre-saw came from Mega-Home, but all the big names have them. Do be aware that in local language a "chop-saw" is one of the beasties intended for cutting up steel section (we have one of those as well). EDIT I like yellow tools :) We have one of these https://www.directtoshop.com/product/1035571 And one of these https://www.directtoshop.com/product/1034862 (ok ours is a Stanley one but not shown on the HomePro site) Came with a free angle-grinder (so I now have two). Thian
That american shop has miter boxes, truevalu or so is their name. or realvalue. Don't buy one from pumpkin, they are absolutely garbage.
planemad
Lazada sell mitre boxes along with the tennon saw although they refer to it as a backsaw. I was looking for one and it took quite a time to find it, but they are there and not too expensive at around 450 baht each, try putting this - เลื่อยปังตอ into the search box. Hope it helps.
