Baby and visa question

Featured Replies

Evening.

A close family friend is due to visit me from the UK to show off their new baby and a holiday. She is coming using a METV and plans to stay the full 9 months. Due to babies young age she does not wish to travel for visa trips with the baby. Does the baby have to leave and return to the country too or just mom. Also, if the baby does not do the visa run what is the potential comeback if he counts as an overstay?

Thanks.

Oh my God. I must just write this. To bring a new born baby to a country like Thailand with a completely new flora of bacterias, and God knows what. There is a full scale of dangers here for a human, and for a new born baby there must be heavy risks every damn day during their stay. Every new insetsbite must be a potentional life-risk as well...

I hope at least, that they have taken all the shots to the baby, and tried to prepare this new born for this climate.

I actally think that this thread is more suited for the HEALTH FORUM than VISA FORUM...

Sorry but for the sake of the baby..... plse do NOT moderate this post.

Other than probably having an overstay stamp in the child's passport there would be no fine, ban or comeback.

Was thinking about health insurance too, could be pretty costly without.
